Want to know more about depositional conditions of source rocks in East Greenland? New information about black shales of the Ravnefjeld Formation (Foldvik Creek Group, Upper Permian) has appeared in Geology (see http://www.gsajournals.org):

Nielsen, J.K. and Shen, Y. (2004). Evidence for sulfidic deep water during the Late Permian in the East Greenland Basin. Geology, 32 (12): 1037–1040.

The Ravnefjeld Formation is an excellent analogue to source rocks in the Norwegian shelf.
