Geology Sabbatical Replacement, University of Alaska Fairbanks
The University of Alaska Fairbanks seeks to hire a visiting adjunct professor of Geology and Geophysics for one semester (spring 2006) to teach one introductory course (Historical Geology) and one intermediate writing-intensive course (Paleobiology and Invertebrate Paleontology) with accompanying labs. A PhD or MS in geology or paleontology is required. Salary: $10,000-$14,000 DOE. The successful applicant will demonstrate commitment to undergraduate education and experience in invertebrate paleontology and sedimentary geology.
